Born in Rome, Maurizio Savini studied architecture at the university “La Sapienza” in Rome. He makes chewing gum sculptures.
Maurizio Savini participated at various collective exhibitions in London and Paris and was also present at the FIAC 2003 with the gallery Olivier Houg. In 2005 Maurizio Savini was awarded a two-months-scholarship for the "Cité internationale des arts" by the city of Paris: his artistic contribution consisted in a permanent wall painting for the childrens's hospital Necker and the personal exhibition Tres jolie... la petite maison de pommes de terre in the "Cité internationale des arts".
